Just got back from a comedy show where I crushed¹.

A man in the front row was laughing so hard during my set, that I had to stop and ask if he was okay, and he said, “yeah, I’m just Big Daddy Chuckles”. So… do with that what you will².

After crushing, I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with butter³ (at 10pm).

LONG:

Well, the Oscars happened.

I spent the last 3 months watching every single interview Lily Gladstone has ever done and developed a parasocial relationship with her so when she lost, I lost my fucking mind. My heart dropped into my crotch, and I sat on the couch in silence for a good 30 minutes, seething.

Lily learned an entirely new language for the film. She’s still SO involved in the Osage community and returns regularly to Oklahoma. She’s perfect and a class act and one of the best actors I’ve ever seen. She has and will continue to change Hollywood with a presence and spirit and genius and kindness that’s unmatched, and I’m so fucking pissed off she didn’t win but this is just the BEGINNING. 

Additional Oscar Thoughts:

-Mark Ronson scares the shit out of me for no reason

-I can’t believe everyone was crying to the Billie Eilish song that has the lyric “don’t tell my boyfriend” in it, congrats to her tho

-The old winners giving speeches about 2024 nominees felt veryyy Bar Mitzvah candle lighting ceremony

-The Last Repair Shop is phenomenal and you can watch it here. Watch all the way through the credits!

-And Knight Of Fortune, too!
