SHORT:
I love seeing people’s bare asses on close friends immediately followed by a ceasefire post — run the dam gamut baby! Gamut alert! All the world’s a gamut! Don’t talk to me until I’ve had my gamut!
MEDIUM:
It has been another week on the planet’s surface. I spent it watching every Lily Gladstone interview known to man (and woman and nb).
She’s so unbelievably talented, grounded, brilliant, and tapped-in.
I especially liked this interview and this interview.
If more people in the world/Hollywood/etc. were like her, things would be better.
LONG:
On Friday, we shot another Late Stage Live. It was lots of fun. We’re really finding our feet. It’ll come out sometime this week.
While taking a lunch break in the TV studio lobby, I looked up and locked eyes with her:
A big beautiful balloon swan (BBBS) quietly rockin’ her shit on public access. Not trying to prove herself. Just… boldly taking up space. Emanating capability.
I couldn’t hear the program, but it didn’t matter, my eyes (and heart) were captivated by the bird. May we all be her this week. Softly bobbing in our own elegance…
What else?
Snack Of The Week is the Dominos pizza I had while watching Ms. BBBS.
I’ve started The Artist’s Way again (can you tell?).
I’m shuffling around town muttering things like “boredom is just ‘what’s the use?’ in disguise” and “most of the time when we are blocked in an area of our life, it is because we feel safer that way… we may not be happy, but at least we know what we are— unhappy… much fear of our own creativity is the fear of the unknown…”
^I know, that’s a lot to mutter while shuffling, but I’m a once-in-a-generation talent when it comes to the S-M (shuffle-mutter).
I also saw Lisa Frankenstein on Saturday and laughed non-stop all the way through. I absolutely loved it… which I thought was off-brand for me, but everyone has been saying that it’s “actually quite in-line”. Looking forward to knowing myself one day.
