SHORT:

There should be a Forbes 30 Under 30 for people who can be alone with their thoughts.

MEDIUM:

I keep seeing ppl doing tiktok dances on the street and in the subway station and it’s way too late in 2023 for me 2 b seein that!!! I’d like a Footloose-esque no dance law in my neighborhood pls & thank u!!!

LONG:

Not to be crass, but i’m exhausted. I went to a holiday party at a fancy apartment in the sky last night, and had a blast, but it was also sunday. and no matter how high in the air you are and how many celebs ur near, it’s impossible to shake that sunday feeling.

I can’t talk about a lot of it because i’m scared of being sued/subpoenaed (btw… Sue Subpoena… beautiful name) but i do wanna give a shoutout to a girl i saw with a thing on her head.

To be a girl with a thing on ur head at a party… big flower on side of ur head attached to headband… not a care in the world… that’s power.

Shout out to every girl who’s ever chosen to wear big thing on her head and every girl who will go on to wear big thing on her head at a formal event.

There was also a mime at the party who kept coming up to our group and pretending to take a photo of us with his invisible iPhone. It’s unclear as to whether he was invited to the party or just stumbled in, but either way, he was… there!

In fact, he was everywhere. Each time we turned a corner: BOOM! mime. I started whispering “wherever you go, there you are… with a mime” and quietly singing “Christmas mime is here” each time we ran into him. Cracked myself up.

Anyyywayyy, Snack of the week was the cornflake french toast I had from PLANTA before the party. Comment of the week was Jess, on the skydeck of the party, quietly saying, “we should run and jump and change the trajectory of everyone’s evenings.” Stress of the week: raising money for my short.

To reference the title of last week’s newsletter, “every week these get worse” — and I wanna change that! So please submit questions you want me to answer/things you want me to talk about HERE.
