SHORT:
New Late Stage Live! out now. We talk about lots of stuff including how those Momofuku b-day cakes look like pre-lesbian Jojo Siwa.
MEDIUM:
It’s 90 degrees in my apartment because our AC is broken and we don’t own a fan.
On the bright side, the cat threw up, so when I walked in after work, the barf was hard — and stuck on the hard-wood floor.
Earlier this week, I locked myself out 30 mins before I needed to leave for the airport.
When I got to the airport, my flight to Texas was delayed for 7 hours.
We finally got on the plane. And the pilot had to clock out. So we all deplaned.
Thankfully, I’m turning 28 in 23 days and do not have health insurance!
LONG:
Sorry for that negative poem, but it’s my truth! During times like these, I try and remember that “fuck” is only four letters away from “jesus” <3 :)
Speaking of Jesus, I actually had a quite a good time in Texas once I arrived. I was there for ATX TV Fest and stayed in a hotel room with my friend Nathan who is fashionable. I kept telling him “I needed a makeover” and he got mad because that “felt homophobic to say to him” (I was just EXPRESSING A NEED not ASKING FOR HELP).
Nathan and I attended lots of fun panels and met some cool people (shoutout to the Houston college student who came up to me and told me that he watches LSL!).
Outfit of the week goes to an older woman we saw wearing her bangs “unicorn-horn-style” — sticking right out of the front of her head, wrapped in rainbow elastics. We saw the horn from up the block, and as we got closer, we discovered that she was wearing a unicorn shirt to match.
Snack Of The Week goes to the Japanese Milk Rolls at Eberly Austin.
Someone please wear a hair horn in public this week and send me a photo. Bonus points if u sport a uni shirt too.
